Teak maintenance

Has anybody got direct experience of the Semco teak cleaning and sealing system?

Do decks survive being walked on with the sealent on them or does it wear through in patches?

Any info much appreciated.

I bought some at LBS last week. I was told that one coat should last 4-6 months depending on usage. But I would guess that it might wear in patches on heavy wear. I'll find out this summer.

The man I bought my boat off recomened only hoseing down with sweet water ,and then with the pressure turned down and it seems to work bob t

Trade down to a Macwester 30 which does not have a teak deck. In May I will be bringing boat from Newark, down Trent, Fosdike and Witham to Boston and then round coast to Ramsholt where I have use of a mooring for the season. Good luck with the Teak.paulrossall@rya-online.net
