teak from Holland

Thanks to previous post I have located teak for my caprails in Holland.
Any one know of a cheap option to bring 7 * 8 foot by 8 inch planks to Ireland.

For a starting point I entered some guess figures and borrowed postcodes on this comparison site and came up with £111 +VAT. I am surprised it was not more.

Just the type of site that I was looking for. yes surprisingly cheap.

I once posted two hockey sticks from London to Ireland as ordinary post for £6, gentleman in Post Office in LONDON insisted they need not be a parcel because of some quirk in their combined measurement scheme, they arrived under the arm of the postman at home who out of devilment insisted that he shove them through our letter box, they were after all letters......

The world gets smaller with cheap transport......
