Can anyone recommend someone in the Ipswich/Orwell area to make some teak panels for my cockpit sole and seats?

If you can't find a local supplier I'd recommend KJ Howells at Poole. They did an excellent job for me and they are nice people to deal with, too.

I've had my cockpit seats beautifully "teaked" by Larkmans at Melton, above Woodbridge on the Deben (01394 382943). They are pretty busy at present (not least painting Santana's hull, fitting a holding tank, etc. etc.). It's probably the sort of job they could do if you left the boat with them from one weekend to the next once they've launched the 300 odd boats in the yard.
They are highly skilled and charge reasonably.
I don't know if they would make up panels for you fit.

Might be worth a call to Jon Brett (ex Water Taxi at Brightlingsea 07733078503). He did some wood work for me on my previous boat which was excellent and not expensive (the work anyway!)
