Teak able and directors type chairs

Where can I buy a nice quality teak table and directors type fold up chairs near to Southampton area? Any ideas please. Must be good quality as I've had rubbish before that falls to pieces.

I bought a folding teak table at LIBS about 5 years ago from a firm trading from Eastland's Yard, Lower Swanwick. Excellent bit of kit, still like new now, but can't remember their name, and don't know if they're still there, but if they are I would expect they would supply just what you looking for.

Up Swanwick lane from Moody's (Premier), then second left Coal Park Lane.

This table, although pricey at £525 (without the pedestal) is on our buy list. The quality far outstrips anything else I've looked at and in comparison to the competition, in my opinion, actually makes it good value.
Plus Jane says I cant have my new chartplotter if she can't have the table

Those directors chairs at £290ea! are great and have stainless fittings.

We usually take our saloon table into the cockpit and eat all our meals there. It's always covered with a tablecloth to protect it from scratching.

The Besenzoni pedestal works very well being heavy enough to keep the table stable but at the same time light enough to be pushed around when more space is needed. The height adjustment is nice too. I'm now considering getting another pedestal and fitting a foldable teak top on that.

Paul each to their own on this but a few thoughts:

TABLE
1. the onward trading stuff is good quality as far as it goes, but you gotta consider do you want the "foldy-uppy" look or not. I'm with Scubaman on this and think you're better buying a besenzoni T233 ped http://www.besenzoni.it/products/Product_Range/Table_pedestals?page_ps=1& and then get a hinged teak top made by www.wattsons.co.uk. This creates a mini superyachty look, as distinct from the foldy-uppy look that you get with the onwardtrading tables

2. Each to their own but I struggle with the look of marineteak.co.uk. Deck caulking totally doesn't belong on table tops, in my book. But this is very much imho

At bottom of this post are pics of various peds and custom tops. The aluminium look pedestals with telescopic arms on the Sq58 (pics 4,5,6) is Bsenzoni T233 from Timage. The aluminium look peds on Match1 (pic 3., circle motif on table top) are Barka from penguin engineering. The square section bright s/s pedestals on Match 2 (pics 1 and 2, chequerboard teak pattern on table) are Atep 20020 again from Timage. But if you want the telescopic arms so the table extends, you need the T233.

Teak tops are 6-25-5 sandwich with solid teak nosing on the small/folding tables. On larger non folding tables, to keep weight down, I used 6-12-6 sandwich plus 45x45 nosing, so the nosing forms a skirt to make the table look thicker than it really is

CHAIRS
The onwardtrading chairs are very good imho. However there are better, if you can access the suppliers to the Med market. There are several suppliers. On Match2, I use "Round" chairs by www.valdenassi.com. He's in Italy but speaks English well and will deliver to UK by parcel post. I prefer the round bars at the bottom of these chairs, instead of 4 pointy legs that you get on onwardtrading chairs, but it's really no big deal and as I say the onwardtrading chairs are very good
