tcm trip update thread 2

Yep, plan was to stick to coast for a bit of wind protection - concerns that sea state round La Coruna might be roughish, so stopover in N Spain for refuel and assess conditions, then coastal down round Portugal, which weather forecasts were saying a couple of days ago looked better over weekend.

Re: weahter punt

Ah that's good. What I meant in the gibberishly-written first para of my post was that the wether for heading west Bilbao-Coruna is better tomorrow than today, hence my suggestion not to hurry. If he's doing it tomorrow, then good stuff.

Then he will be heading south down Portugal Saturday/Sunday/Monday, which is better than tomorrow/Saturday I think - the winds seem to be lightening a bit

Yup you will be in France for summer! All is well down there. They have now installed barriers at the entrance to Mole Sud so only Mole sub berthholders can drive along our quai. I hope they're going to retarmac it and install the flower boxes imminently, as promised. Then we'll all think we in Portals (only with a better food!)

Re: weahter punt

I passed your message onto Matt, who has responded that he's going to stay put on the latest fuel dock that he's bought! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif, then head W friday morning, and and blame you for the weather

Re: weahter punt

Hi Brendan,

It's meeee.......what month do you anticipate this voyage to end?? i've been to Tenerife and back 9 times since he started!!

Paul.

Re: weather punt

Passing on info, and haven't been stuffy. there's been some leg pulling, but nowhere have I banned fun. Just don't take piss out of Matt's decisions when he's not here to defend them. Do it when he's back and I don't have to do it for him without full knowledge of why decisions are made

Re: weahter punt

Thanks,

I take its from there to Gib??
Unfortunatly i won't see him then.

Brendan, pass on my best reagards, and i look forward to reading up on the trip when i return.

Cheers
