No, he will assist with packing, if buyer arranges shipping. Seems a bit grudging, though!
Amazes me how people on eBay will limit their potential market [and hence selling price] because they can't be bothered to parcel something up and arrange a courier.
Agreed. However I have recently been finding that a fiver for wrapping up and arranging my own collection through Interparcel (rather than getting the sender to arrange it) works out very economically-- most things are £6.99 + VAT.
Yes, I have an account with them, costs nothing to set up. However there's no discount on the most basic service I quoted.
I run a small publishing business as a sideline and delivery was a nightmare for me before Interparcel. ParcelForce rates have got to the point of uneconomic and then some, and the nearest PO is now 8 miles away.
With Interparcel the nice man comes and picks the orders up, and for a lot less money too........Whoever is in charge of the PO's business model is doing a great job of closing it down. Rant over.
I'm smug. A fiver got me a Taylors diesel stove at a boat jumble. All it needs is the flue collar welding back to the top and a tank. I've wanted a diesel stove for decades, now it's nearly Summer...
