tanker crash film - going viral

Two weeks ago I posted a short film about a tanker crashing through a racing fleet



the numbers of hits ticked along nicely - 50 to eighty - sometimes a 100 day

Then on wednesday it started doing over 1000 a day

now it is doing more than that and is just about to hit 15,000 and is showing no sign of peaking off....yet

the vast majority of hits are coming from face-book accounts in North America

I am very curious to see what happens to it over this coming weekend and see if it gets more hits than the crash test boat films

I am beginning to wish that I had made a better job of the audio edit now

that would account for the rise in American hits

it looks as though the line is continueing upwards since then

I shouldn't worry too much about that. Half the enjoyment of the video is that it's as it comes and not over engineered like a commercial. Let us know how the hits progress!

In fact, if anyone here uses tweets and facebook, now is a good time to put them to good use for once!

although my daughter did set one up for me - it is a sad an unnatended place where very little changes

I had noticed that it said that it will not be available in some areas

I am not allowed to put it on my website because of the music I used
