The alu tanks on my boat are held down with cargo straps fixed through eye bolts. I am fairly happy with this and they are mostly in good condition after 8 years.
However the webbing on the diesel tank straps is yellowing - presumably because of spilt diesel over the years.
I am worrying this is likely to degrade the straps, though they look and feel strong enough. I assume they are nylon.
I'd like to replace them as a precaution. Anyone know if there is a webbing material which would be resistant to degradation from diesel?
Thanks
