I need a little help finding the location of the engine anodes and determining if there are two or three.

As I understand it from reading the manuals there are three. Heat exchanger front end plate (starboard side of engine at front. CAC, starboard side of engine behind heat exchanger. Third one, oil cooler (reverse gear). Not sure about the location of this one.

Any pointers?

Also, would the plugs need any form of sealant, maybe ptfe tape?

This is a TAMD75P but yours is probably similar. You could use a tiny bit of ptfe tape but you probably shouldn’t as you need electrical connection to the body. IMG_2355.jpeg

You don't need anything on the threads. as said they are the electrical contact between the anode and the housing it is protecting.

No PTFE tape, no sealant - the brass plug has a tapered end to create the seal.
Don't over tighten them either. Hand tight plus a smidge.

On my engines, at the arrowed location above, is fitted a hose, linked to the shafts (for lubrication I assume) so no anode. The oil cooler for this engine does indeed appear to have a plug and anode but not mine!

If it's like the 63p, there's one at the bottom at that std side of the cooler. It may actually be in the end cap like the CAC and the exchanger.

It's a different cooler to the 63P.

It should be on the end cap, according to this parts diagram. But on my engines, there is a hose linked to the shafts where the plug and anode should be.
