Only ever had the MN100 (now with an MN100-2 bevel but I wouldn’t choose Tacktick I’d fitting from scratch unless I was choosing to replace everything including autopilot with compatible equipment.

Thanks for the swift response.
I'm looking to replace my ageing ST30's with something and want to go wireless. Only thing I want to hang onto is my ST1000 tiler pilot and garmin GPS.
I like the idea of the Tacktick system being mostly wireless and solar powered.
Can I ask why you wouldn't choose Tacktick?

I’ve had tacktick wind and depth/log/ temp for the past 4 years, interface now with NMEA2 having originally used NMEA0183 tacktick interface, all worked well, just need to make sure the wind head can get a good signal to the display, I had to move ours as sometime the signal was week and lost wind data. Could not get it to send wind data to autohelm ST2000 via NMEA0183 but could using Seatalk adapter,

Would I use again? Yes just make sure signal strength and displays in good location, but now know that both NMEA 0183 and NMEA2K interface also take the remote signal into the system so would not hide this behind panels as I originally did.
