Has anybody used this lately?

Any issues?

I've used it a couple of times but not for a year or two. Decent jetty, smooth concrete base, a bit muddy underfoot usually.

I used it a week or so ago. Bit slushy under foot but otherwise - no problem.

Thanks for the replies, SYH seem to be offering a lift, hose off and return for about £80 (10.8mtrs). Does that apply to visiting boats?

According to their website it's £102.50 +VAT from June to Sept

As you're in Shotley, it's worth noting that they also do a Summer special, £14 per metre inc Vat Slightly more than SYH, but it's on site for you.

Hi All,

In answer to the above questions; The scrubbing grids are both up and running (we do wash them down regularly and keep them as clear as poss, but naturally the silt builds up (un)surprisingly quickly).

We do also offer a summer 'quicklift and wash' from June to Sept (to include tow from a berth if required, liftout, wash, relaunch and tow back to the berth... you'd be out of the water for up to about an hour) from £113.00 inc vat (the prices are banded according to boat length). This is available to visitors and berth holders alike.
