SWMBO Xmas Present

Not at all, just giving my opinion on the trade I know as I am sure you would do if someone asked about something you know a lot about? FWIW I never stocked Pandora!

thanks MS!

wife's birthday today, 25y anniversary in 4 days and her namedate (more important than bdays down here) on the 9th!
saved me big time (not really moneywise though), some nice bits in there.

cheers

V.

But back to the real world in 2015, it's a pathetic boaty word, speaks volumes that to appreciate the funny side you would have to remember Rumpole from the late 70s and 80's
Say no more

How is it boaty, its used sometimes on this forum, but also in many other walks of life. My brother uses it all the time, has no interest in boats but is a lawyer, so perhaps a Rumpole connection. I know of many others outside my boating circle who use it.
Anyway, what's wrong with recalling tv programs before the arival of not worth watching reality tv on 100's of channels.
Give me the past any day.

Perhaps give her a free pressie, namely that you will promise to never use the phrase SWMBO again, a pathetic " boaty forum " word that I wish could be dropped

Hardly pathetic! I feel us guys use it to describe our partners mostly in jest? But of course us males do know it has a serious connotation as well, we do have to do as we are told don't we? (Well mostly) :)
Actually I think it's pathetic you feel you have to moan about it! Can't you think of anything constructive to write about?
Now I must just pop upstairs to see what SWMBO wants!

Hear! Hear! Today the Mrs demanded the heaters go on. Fair enough, done. SWMBO demanded they be set to 30C. One must obey. Failure to obey gets you a Bastid of the Year nomination.
