Anyone elses swmbo being totally unreasonable, sorry I mean "sensitive" because of the eclipse. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

It may have nothing whatever to do with the eclipse, but my SWMBO has been acting queerly all day.

Finally, I made the ultimate sacrifice - I took her to IKEA !

We emerged after an afternoon of male purgatory, and all was 'sweetness and light' for some hours afterwards. For myself, I think I would prefer the Shia Moslem Atonement of "The Lash".

It would be over quicker.....

what do you mean (because of eclipse)
my swmbo is unreasonable whenever theres a "Y" at the end of the spelling of the day of the week.
just have to learn to switch off and let it pass over

What about the womens side of it,

you never listen,

or

just say yes and wonder why when you have said you will do something , and you have not , you wonder why we get grumpy.!

or

you keep disappearing at weekend , and bringing back MORE washing.

or

instead of going to bed and keeping me warm you spend evening and late night on your computer,

or

I have a grumpy mo and get accused of being that way all the time, well how would you feel if,

1. kids don't want the food cooked for them or want feeding now.
2 , gym kit need washing for tomorrow and it was clean this morning and some how is mysteriously not now.
3, washing machine is making that funny noise it makes just before it floods the floor,
4, the washing hung to dry has not dried and you need it asap.
5, there was a film you really wanted to see tonight and thats just gone out the window due to the extra football/gym/ballet class on tonight that you have just been told about.
6 you just stubbed your toe on the tool kit left by the door.

and then you darling partners asks................................!!!!!

It's reassuring to read that others have this problem. My main functions as husband for the last few days have been:

1. Put up more shelves (when I should be fitting new shaft and hull anodes, etc.)

2. Offer opinions on the correctness or otherwise of SWMBO's behaviour in the ongoing battle between her and her mother.

3. Keep her company while she watches Rolf Harris talking about L S Lowry.

4. Explain why I had such a thirst at last night's barn dance in aid of Riding for the Disabled.

5. Make the tea in the morning.

6. Agree that black is white.
