Swing Mooring Guidance for Bayliner

How will the bridle line be retained in the bow roller to prevent it jumping out due to wash from passing boats.
Secondary line to bow eye good idea.
The only problem with snap hook/shackle is they have been known to straightening under heavy loading.

Be careful of having a back up ie 2 lines. I did the came on the exact type of mooring you have and they twisted around each other and caused a significant issue with the line getting tighter and tighter until it started to pull the bow down

As above , seen numerous twin lines knotted up. Cutting would probably be needed to release.
I have a similar bow set up but didn't even have a bow roller.
Fitted one and added a strong centre cleat to secure the boat as I wouldn't trust the fitted ones.

I would have a good look at how strongly the cleats are attached before using them. Would it be worth fitting a centre Samson post or big cleat substantial enough to take the load?
Rather than a bridle you can use a single mooring strop over the roller to one cleat then use a thinner rope to pull it straight and tie to the other cleat.
