Hi all. I know the season is still young, but has anyone been over the SW Sunk so far this year? I'd be keen to know if anyone has noted any major deviations from the chartlet produced by Roger Gaspar last year.

Ah. The 'SW Sunk question' rivals the 'I've heard the first cuckoo' letter to the Times. Well done.

Nothing has come to me yet of anyone going over it. I have a plan (which may be slightly half baked) to get down there on the next springs (like Monday 27th) and have a check. I'll post if I do.

I aim to please! :) I'm off over to Calais for the bank holiday so your update will be just a little late for me this time. Maybe I will spot you on the way back!

Someone beat me to my annual forum question!

Would be grateful for any update from Brigantia (or anyone else) as I am also intending heading that way on the bank holiday weekend.

Paul.

I feared I should have got down there next week and was originally planning to finish fitting-out yesterday and go onto the mooring but the high winds this last week meant I left the paint brush alone - it just blows evrywhere - and decided to stay to the next set of springs. Sorry everyone. I suspect its still there but if you can all collect a bit of data - height of water, time and position in a couple of spots - that would be handy in case I can't make it down later in the month.
