Hello all i bought a brand new mikuni carburator for my dt4 because after cleaning the origional jogo carb twice and adjusting the float it still would not idle. After installing the new carb i t fired up fine and would rev well and idle with a small adjustment of the idle screw then after putting it in gear and raising the revs then lowering (bit not to idle) it died and i noticed fuel dripping from the air intake.I took the carb off got fuel out and reinstalled it fired back up but done the same again so now i am stuck wondering if a new carb needs its tang bent any help would be very much appreciated.Gordon.

First Option. Take it back.

Second Option. Fit needle valve from original crab to see if that fixes it. However this may affect any subsequent warranty claim, so back to First Option.
