Surveys...again!

The perennial question once again I am afraid!

Looking for an out of water Insurance Survey for our 26 footer...any recommendations for a reliable Surveyor please?

I have had excellent service from Dominic Buckley East Anglia Yacht Surveys. He is my first choice for next time.

Most surveyors offer an insurance survey which concentrates on whether the boat is seaworthy, safe and worth the sum insured rather than are there any faults that might affect a decision to buy. However insurers tend to ask for a "full out of water survey" so important to clarify what the insurer requires to satisfy that.

Joe Kershaw did mine at Burnham so he does travel. Mersea to SYH the same as to BYH.

Thanks guys! I have spoken to Joe...a decent bloke who DOES understand boats! He will be conducting my survey in a couple of weeks time.
