Any suggestions for surveyors in the Port Solent area??

Had to add this reply, even though your looking for someone in the solent.
I had heard various rumours about the skill levels of Surveyors on the east coast where i'm based. having been just about to purchase a 10 year old Princess 440 I was recommended to a Surveyor called "Steven Truss".
Steven met me at the boatyard and having already lifted the boat was in the process of checking her over for me. I have to say his level of professionalism was extreamly high. His report was very very thorough and he picked up on even the smallest of things (like missing screws in fittings, non working bulbs , incorrect cable sizes etc). He completed his report within 24 hours and added digital photos to complement his findings... Steven can be contacted on 01692 580119.... I know that he travels to the south coast, and I could not recommend anyone else.

Hey there Phil!
Well we can let you know what we think of our surveyor when we get the report back on Weds, I think he will cover Port solent!
He did the survey today and we spoke to him earlier and he has found a few things so sounds ok, will let you know the outcome!

I have used Paul Homer for a boat on the Thames, but I am aware he also covers the South Coast, also Motor boats monthly use him for some of their features and his full details are in the back of the mag under surveyors.

Hi Phil
I used Jim Pritchard based in Cowes but does all the solent area. Although I used SAL for the volvos I think Jim will do those as well. Excellent survey. Very thorough.
