surveyors in south of France

Anybody know of a fully certified insured surveyor in the south of France for hull and engines.Just found a boat in St Tropez flying over thursday for a viewing if all ok i will need a surveyor.

Ah. Fairline Targa 31 or Botnia targa?

Lets guess a Fairline. The main French distributor for these is Ari de Boom, 15 miles up teh coast at L aRague. Whereas BA Peters is main aganet for UK and Spain, these guys work direct. IMHO they are a zillion miles better than most UK boat fixers. They have spares to hand, men in vans tearing around to reach distant vans, proper workshops, and indeed they own the marina of la Rague. the commercial manager is Murray Bray, based at la Napoule nearby. If the boat is based in that area, chances are that Ade B will know it anyway - and if they don't why not? Murray shd be able to rec'd decent surveyor, and/or give insight to bioat if it's known, (what was the owner like etc) and praps have similars up for sale.

Ring the YBDSA they can fax you a listing of all approved surveyors in Europe.
