I used Mike Hall (based at Inverkip) who did a very thorough job for a reasonable price surveying my yacht.

Would NOT recommend Murray Cormack Associates. Some time ago did a survey for the buyer of the boat I was selling. I was around at the time although I am not sure the surveyor was aware of this and he seemed to spend half his time on the phone and when the report came out is was completely inaccurate on many points. Fortunately the buyer & I went over the boat with the report and he realised how incorrect the report was. Sale went through and new owner is still happy.
