Surface Pressure Forecast - warm or cold winds?

Pedant!

Did I say that it was 'exactly 55 degrees?

My original statement, was a difference of about 15C, which = 59F.
"Temperature difference between the air behind a cold front & the warm air it is catching up, is reported at being at least 15*C."

Poppycock. A difference of 15C is not 59F but a difference of 27F.

Your original statement made no mention of a difference of "about 15C", as your own quote above demonstrates: "Temperature difference ...is reported at [presumably "as"] being at least 15*C." Where does the "at least" come from? That's absurd and unsupported by any of the links mentioned (not to mention reality). Yes, the difference may be as much as 15C. It may also be considerably less.

15degC X 1.8 + 32 = 59degF
