supercool 12 volt 'fridge' - can i still get spares?

I have a Supercool unit which is a peltier cooling unit installed on my boat. works a charm and has transformed what was a simple coolbox built into the galley into as near as makes no difference a fridge. however, intermittently one of the fans has started making a noise and i'm afraid the bearings in the motor are on their way out. the instructions (the previous owner kept everything!) from when it was installed look pretty ancient but say the motors are available as spares and are the only moving parts and made to be easily replaceable - 'snap in snap out' - so they are obviously purpose built.

Anyone know if you can still get spares for these in the UK?

Make sure the fan blades are not being fouled by any of the surround. This happened on my dads boat.

I have a peltier cool-box and when the fan got too noisy simply replaced it with a 12v computer fan. Much quieter, and also better air flow.

Had a problem with mine, phoned Paul at Vitesse marine who talked me through fault finding, e mailed some details and some very good quotes for service and or replacement.

Very impressed with service levels.

I have just discovered what looks like a new fan motor in my boat. Don’t have the fridge so if anyone wants one I’m up for offers.

IIRC they were regular 80x25mm 12v computer fans.
Something with integrated blue LED-s would be SuperCool

I took mine apart and greased the shaft bushes and most important the thrust washer, this is what usually squeaks when the thrust from the fan moves it all against the end bushing

How did you take it apart? My "supercool" peltier's inner fan has gotten temperamental and I'd like to repair/replace it. All I see is an aluminum box on the inside.
