Sunseeker tap

Hers another little problem, the tap that lifts up in the sink is stuck "up" and wont go down which means I cant shut the lid. Any tips guys n girls......large hammer??

try soaking it in vinegar or coke or blather it with wd40, then gentle wiggling should free it

Hi, have soaked it in wd for days, it swivels but wont go down....
