Skippered a portofino 53 several times, great boat, very roomy below but not a lot of cabins for 53ft!!

No experience whatever. But wouldn't the main difference be the Arneson surface drives on the Predator?

i owned a P53 for just over a year, 04/05, only reason for selling was young family, son only 12mths old at the time and even though we clocked up over 250 hrs on her it was too hard to use for the family. Once our second son reaches 3ish i would def consider one again as i loved it. but in the meantime its superhawks for a few years for me.

P55has larger engine plus arnesons = 300k more for 10knotts.

3 cabins is good for 55ft boat? the guest can also be made into a double, and if you really want you can have the garage converted into a crew cabin ( as per the 55 for sale in SOF)

overall great boat, good handling, roomy and a good cruiser.
