Sunseeker Logo

Quite ridiculous that price

Yes but just imagine how "cool" you would feel parading around your local dinghy racing club wearing those and sooo much cheaper than the de riguer
Rolex or Breitling...:)
Have some secondhand ropes bought off Ebay which I was assured came from a Sunseeker.Very shiney and soft and my boat seems to go so much faster.
Worth every penny.

"Date of manufacture second quarter of 2013 do still plenty of date left."

Not £1,500 worth of "date" !

Given these life jackets are circa £120 a pop brand new (without Sunseeker logo) I'd be interested to know when the jackets were last serviced, pressure checked, gas cylinder weighed & date checked, automatic head date checked etc.

Just because they come with a 5 year guarantee doesn't mean they don't need looking at every year.

Henry :)

They're listed as new - but as you say more than half of the useful life has been expended

I had some fender covers embroidered with a logo for £15 each - not that I'd want life jackets with the same!

Yup by all accounts wearing one of those puts hairs on your chest, a gold medallion around you neck and a Russian bimbo on your arm so it seems like terrific value to me;)

Maybe I should buy a few dozen life jackets and a Fairline shield stencil and sell the branded life jackets for £300 each. I could be quids in!

It's not such a bad idea Pete, find a competitive trade source for lifejackets and a local embroidery supplier, and offer jackets with the customers boat name / logo at the time they order their stainless letters (or any other time they want to buy them of course). I don't know what the copyright situation is with boat brands, but it may be possible to offer those as well.

It would seem to be a reasonable fit with your current marine business.

Or even offer to supply Fairline themselves with those branded goods for them to sell or give away. They might not be too happy if you're selling unauthorised goods with their logo on it
