Does anyone have any 'REAL' estimations of fuel 'DRINKAGE' of a CAT 660 or Volvo D-12 engined model, or should I not ask and just pour the stuff into the sea direct from the fuel pump at Sparkes??? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

hmm I am trying to remember this, but Volvo is a bit more economic on the lower rev range, a slight difference of about 10 litres per hour engine,
I recall the Volvos consume about 60 litres per hour engine at 26 knots cant remember the reving tough
Cats consumes 80 LPH per eng at 1850 giving about 28 knots
speed is about the same but managed to touch 37 knots with the D12s, but with Cats it planned about 1.5 knot before speed with Cats is 35 knots
