what I never understand
I love to be sailing at sunset
I will often drop anchor mid afternoon and then be sailing while the sun is going down
that way instead of watching one sunset you see a hundred as the light changes across the water
drive Jill crazy, she has just settled down for the evening with a wine and a book and I start making sail

Definitely the sunrise. Nothing to beat an early start to catch the tide, the anticipation, the delightful thrill of seeing dawn, the bacon sandwiches, the prospect of a day at sea, bring it on.
