Well, the EA do get things done. This afternoon I passed a huge raft with a crane on board in the process of raising a sunken boat about half a mile upstream of Abingdon lock. There were about a dozen men involved, including at least one diver. Three hours later the raft came past where I’d moored ( before Nuneham railway bridge) with what appeared to be a fairly large cruiser being held alongside by the crane.
I think the raft and crane were what were being used for the repair of the railway bridge, I’ll know when I go past in the morning.
It has made me realise what the cost of removing a sunken boat could amount to.
(Tried to upload a photo but file is too big. How can I shrink the photo on my iPhone so I can upload it?)

Yes.
Good to see it finally shifted.

Quite a clever move to get the railways contractors to do the job as they have the hardware. I wonder if it will be removed from the River or left on the side below the railway bridge. I think there is a bit of EA land there for it.
