Kittrina is safely ashore.

Attempting to circumnavigate NEVIS on Sunday on a 27’ Dehler(sp).


Departure is set at 7:00am (noon UK time).

Not sure if route will be clockwise or anti-clockwise.

12-14 knot winds forecast.

Looking forward to the televised start, with all the press RIBS, huge crowds waving flags and blowing vuvuzelas? Where can we expect the rendezvous points for the boat-to-boat interviews over poor quality sound links, the passing of film and letters back to Race HQ, I am sure there will be some in-depth analysis of your choice of Max Bygrave LPs and the technical issues with the the wind up phonograph along with checking your charts to ensure you did not cross the ice limit.

Good luck with your epic circumnavigation and I look forward to the pictures taken on your Kodak Instamatic; when they get back from the developers in three weeks time.

I seem to be going around in circles, or not as the case may be.
