On my last trip to Israel I stayed in a hotel by the Dead Sea which was terrible. The menu displayed the following (honest).
Piss: an Arabic translation to English of 'peas'.
Susag Pye: (sausage pie) - actually a sausage roll!.
Mice: (Arabic to English guess at maize) - actually sweetcorn.
