Summer lift on the Orwell?

I seem to remember last summer there was a helpful post about cheap offers on mid-summer lift outs. Has anybody done the leg work to find the cheapest place on the Orwell this year, or do i need to 'phone around?

We need about an hour to clean her and do a minor job on the rudder.

Do you need to lift, or can you use the nice concrete scrubbing grid at Levington for £20-30 a go?

Unfortunately yes, she is a SuperSeal and is not set up to sit on a hard bottom. The rudder problem is annoyingly minor, and so not worth the £200 or so usual lift price, but too awkward to do on the water.

Several yards offer a lift/hold/drop - over lunch - deal at very reasonable prices.
Took advantage of such a deal at SYH in the past, and at Fox's only last week.

Just checking the Deben - is Waldringfield the only scrubbing place on the river? - I think Ramsholt is just for mooring holders.

Yes Ramsholt is just for mooring owners. Think you book Waldringfield through the pub, but I think the OP does need a lift.

The last time I looked at scrubbing on the Waldringfield posts it was booked via the pub. There is also a set of at Felixstowe Ferry which I assume are owned by the boat yard.

You have to specify over lunch!! (they're not working then anyway)
Paid a lot less at SYH and Fox's.
IIRC paid just £50 at SYH (for a 44' boat).
