Summer levels

When I checked earlier the levels here were about 2" BELOW summer levels. Having said that the river is still running fast but not overly so.

Goring Lock still has two boats stored inside and at 4pm today the lock keeper was instructed to start closing in the weirs. It is thought that Red boards will be displayed until at least Sunday but mote likely until mid next week!

Henley reach about the right level now. Moving swiftly though, and red boards still in evidence at Marsh. Downstream of Marsh still very excitable!

Saw two mobos today, and Hobbs have got their small trip boat out.

Yes! One of the boats that stayed here in the floods left today but had to come back because two NBs are in the lock. I think he's trying again tomorrow.
