Currently in Concarneau having worked my way here from the Solent. It’s very noticeable how some of the usual destinations are very quiet. Camaret , Benodet, Loctudy. Concarneau is busy but very few Brits.
Anyone coming over should be aware that getting diesel can be a problem. Both Camaret and Concarneau have no fuel.
Don’t forget to bring masks. Compulsory in most stores. Legal requirement from next Monday in indoor public areas.

Give them time - most are still working their way down.

On Friday / Roscoff : 5 Brit boats / 5 Dutch boats / 2 Germans
On Saturday / L'Aberwrach ; 2 Brits / 4 Dutch
Sunday / Camaret : 1 Brit / 1 German / 2 Danes / 1 Swede

Tonight boats were being turned away from Loctudy and Benodet as the place was full.

I have some business contacts in Brittany, there seems to be an upsurge in infections at the moment and a lot of distrust of the official data.
STFAH would about cover their take on it.

The harbours in South Brittany are quite busy. Yesterday my home port was quite full, the day before all the moorings in Les Glenan were occupied.British boats are very rare this year.TheCovid19 seems to merge on Brittany since à few days, you must wear a mask in all the stores, pub, restaurants, post offices,,harbour offices.....

This is third hand via the OCC, a member of the CA is reporting that he has been told that he needs to do 14 days isolation. No idea where he has come from and not had any other reports.

The current death numbers in France are about a third of the UK

It's on the CA Biscay website but may be an isolated case. Others arriving in nearby ports have not been given this treatment. The man in question arrived from UK. Unclear so far he will report back.

Yes. Definitely a wave of boats on the way. Stargazer left the Medway on the 9th of July. We’ve been in with a large number of Dutch, German and Belgian boats, which all left port as soon as the lockdown restrictions were eased, all the way down channel. We’ve spread out a bit now, with the greater choice of ports since rounding Cap de la Hague. And a few Brits have joined us. All heading for Pemarc’h and points south!

Counted 7 Brit flagged boats in St Cast this morning there may be more in the outer parts of the marina which is pretty well full. Mask wearing being strictly enforced in all the shops and the outdoor markets.
