Not me. Love wreck diving, swim round the boat during the summer. What’s there to be afraid of?

Definitely. I love swimming in the sea but being too near the boat or a buoy gives me the heebie jeebies for some reason. I think I partly have a fear of being trapped or entangled...

Yes, though never thought about it before. Have wrecked dived and enjoyed it but it's when I'm on the surface with obscured vision that I feel uneasy near 'stuff'. Propellers are another matter: never entirely happy clearing my own by snorkeling, just in case. A phobia or a rational fear of injury / entanglement? I'm not sure.

I remember looking under the boat when anchored off Hydra and noticing a sunken fishing boat directly under us. Put the fear of God up me and put me off any idea of going for a dip. Can totally relate to this.

Getting tangled in discarded monofilament nets worries me and moving boat's props when surfacing.

Definitely me.

I also have a fear of abandonned industrial sites and mines and yet at the same time a facination with them and industrial archeology. Hence my post in the Whaley Bridge thread regarding the industry which spawned the Peak Forest Canal.

I got it suddenly when swimming off the back of the boat in Corfu..the depth of water was over a 150 fathoms or more. Scared me for some reason.
