I'm driving down to Portsmouth tomorrow afternoon for a meeting there early Friday am.

I'll be stuck watching the football in some bar no doubt down there, any forumites resident in Portsmouth who haven't heard the full story of the diesel conversion fancy a pint to celebrate Portugal's defeat ??!!

Re: oh shit

I may well be down there - but only friday, not thursday (i think but duno) and seeing as how it is a bit nasty weatherish mebbe, i might not need to get ready to go out, but instead i can fix the boat.

Of course, when i say fix the boat, i mean get some tools out, ponder about things, get some other tools out, consider attempting something masive like a major engine clean, drool over some recently-bought item, or go and buy some more stuff, and inamongst all this quasi-activity i MAY be able to squeeze in a pint at the upstairs bar 2nd floor of the yot club that says Sunsail all over it.

My current charge-out rate for listening to repeats of stories about diesel conversions is 1 pint every 20 minutes.

Re: oh shit

Having followed TCM's antics on this forum with much, in the main, hilarity for many months, I understand the references to LEOPARDPRINT and COPPER, but please explain CARDBOARDBOX!

Re: Cue MedDreamer

"Cardboard Box!... You were lucky, when I were a lad I used to have to get up half an hour before I went to bed......etc........etc.

.........Try telling that to the youth of today, they won't believe you."

Sorry didn't get around to reply earlier but been away on business for the past few days and sadly my father in law is gravely ill. I will get around to answering the PM's regarding "Mednightmare" asap.

Regards

M. Python (for those not in the know this is a clue as to where the cardboard box fits in)

PS Martyn - Had an excellent meal in the Chinese Restaurant in Puerto Solente a couple of months ago, well worth a try
