My boat is under repair, bo hoo!!!, but when finished it will have one bronze shaft and one new duplex stainless steel shaft. It has bronze rudders, props and through hulls. The trim tabs are stainless.
Currently there are two pear anodes above the upper ends of each shaft.
Is there anything I should do particularly in respect of the two different shafts?
I intend to renew the existing pear anodes as they are half gone and looking very scabby and passivated. They are internally bonded to almost everything!!!
I intend to add a shaft anode to each shaft...... about half way down????
I intend to put a disk anode on each trim tab. Top and bottom, or just on top???
Any other sage advice welcome..... other than buy another shaft!!!!
