Good evening all
I have a curious oil leak on the above. There is a small pit in the cast just below the intercooler which collects oil over a season. Can’t for the life of me find where it’s coming from plus it takes such a long time to develop. The inter cooler is situated rear port side of block. Any and all theories will be thoroughly investigated.

As FARSCO said. Mine does the same, just an oily damp patch which I wipe up with a rag every month or two. Obviously, if you are getting a runny pool of oil the oil seals on your turbo are wearing but probably nothing urgent.

The intercooler has a small hole in the bottom to allow condensation to drain out, any oil from the turbo will also find its way out here too.

Thanks all
Oil from drain hole is the logical explanation so it must be the oil seals in the turbo. We’re talking about less than an eggcup full over the summer.

IT comes out of the relief valve below the breather filter you must change theses every year

I think the crank case breather filter may be
WIX 46106
But do check against the Volvo penta part number.
