Stowable cockpit table Bracket

It's what I've been using for 17yrs, though I have no need for using it in the saloon. It works very well, but there is something of a knack in using it without getting into a muddle. I was on another boat and the owner had not discovered that the handles can be pulled out and turned to make the job easier.

I have the same on my small motorboat, and it's an excellent system, and means I can use the table in three different locations.....bow cockpit, aft cockpit and cabin.

The Lagun fittings are very well engineered and excellent, although a little expensive. When the table is stowed away there is nothing in the cockpit for lines to snag on. Good Scandinavian engineeering!

I have this in my cockpit. Quite sturdy, but I also have an additional (removable) leg on the table for when 4 hefty loafs are eating and drinking at the table. The only other downside I've found is that when putting the table onto the spigot it can be a tight fit despite slackening off the fitting.

That looks excellent.

I used an old Mercedes van driver's seat swivel to enable our saloon table to turn from its usual fore-and-aft position to an athwartships position. Alleviates the somewhat tight space to get around it, and for me creates more of a coffee table feel.

Instead of the tops of the legs bolting into the table top, they bolt into an oval-shaped piece of veneered & oiled board which I fashioned to match the table top (although the board is largely invisible). The seat swivel mounts between this and the table top.
