1) Clean well with mild soap and rinse off with plenty of fresh water
2) Dry properly, including letting the transom dry...
3) Apply Talc. liberally to all joints of the black rubbery variety - Transom, tubes to keel etc.
4) Fold up and put in original bag (if available).
5) Store bag somewhere dry (preferrably dark), away from electrical heaters, sunlight and fluorecent light tubes).

Keep away from mice ....(as others have mentioned)

Hi Col- Wher've I bin? I bin everywhere 'cept cruisin' on my own boat. I've done <50hr this yr - a record low, because we've bin away so much - early in 2002, 3-weeks cruisin' S.America, Falklands etc, April training for 150 mile charity bike rides(2), Jul-Aug cruisin' Gt Lakes on friends' Hatteras - and we're still friends! Then trips to Augusta to help son and family move in to new hse, to UK for 3 wks, then again up to Augusta a week ago for Thanksgiving. Past few days I have been standing on my head, literally, in eng room changing impellers and doing other maintenance in prep for extndd Bahamas cruise early next yr. I'm covered in pressure bruises from lying over U-bars, even with padding. This 'ere retirement is hard work! And yesterday was my birthday, but no-one on this BB remembered:). Had enuf? 'ow are you?

Thank you, Adrian, (Ian or Sandra). BTW, I had the title of Operations Mgr, once upon a time, but in a different field of work. How interesting, wot!
And back to the subject of inflatables, I had one rolled up in our garage for over a year and when I recently inflated it, it was as good as new. (West Marine/Zodiac)

Re: Chat Room

Blimey Arfur, ain't seen a posting from you in an age. I thought maybe you were in the Florida State Prison.
The chat room BTW tends to be used about 7:30 - 11pm most nights.
