Hi to everyone.
Just registered and would like to say that I deem it a privelidge to join this merry band of waterbabes.
Some of you know me and I know some of you and to those, a special hello and YES, I have finally stopped lurking on the sidelines.
I may not have time to contribute much but must say that I have had many moments of amusement reading various threads.
Can't stay any longer as have to finish list of jobs left by SWMBO before she gets home from work.
BFN.

You've obviously been lurking a while. Not only have you used the NB icon but you've also slipped in SWMBO AND you've filled in your profile - that'll make a few forum grouch's happy /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Welcome!

Well done, and welcome to the forum. If you have been lurking for a while you will know the subjects to avoid such as scottish language and fray bentos products.

Sadly you've ruined most of our fun....

We can't tell you to mind your Ps and Qs, as you've been unscruitably polite...

We can't tell you to bugger off and only come back when you've filled your profile in...as you have provided more than adequate detail...

We can't smile politely at you and laugh secretly at your naive use of long winded langauage, like 'my better half' instead of the far more erudite SWMBO... as you clearly have mastered the terminology...

And we can't even laugh at your obvious lack of skill in using the forum demonstrated through your double posts etc etc....

So why don't you just sod off and go get something wrong for a change?...

Welcome to the wacky world of Scuttlebutt!

Oh, but we can tell him to bugger off. Look at his profile, he's from scotland

Bugger off, we've got enough mad jocks here already! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

As has been noted been lurking for several months so trying not to antagonise too early in my career. That comes when I start to feel more comfy. When I start to insult all and sundry then you will know that I really like you all.
As for being from Scotland too bad, Lancashire born and bred and only moved to Scotland so that I could sail in the worst weather and scenery on earth. Last bit for south coast readers only!

I can see you are going to fit in just fine! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

You're right the scenery is horrid, but admitting that you're a Lancastrian? You've just lost any street cred, after all, hlb is from that neck of the woods!!!

....the scenery is horrid....

Can't be worse than the desert like Crap Merde Islands, I mean Cap Verde Islands

Joining this forum is only one step away from being sectioned under the Mental Health Act. You do realise you've put what vestiges of sanity you might have had left on the line, don't you?

Welcome. It's good to have you on board.
