Stolen from the Hamble

[Solitaire]

Last night (24th October) between 19.40 and 20.00hrs the rib from the Metropolitan Police Sailing Centre was stolen with its trailer from its base on the Hamble River. The boat is a Ribcraft 5.85 with a Suzuki 140hp outboard although the engine cover would indicate 90hp.

The colour of the boat is blue tubes with grey ware patches and has the initials MPSC on the bow. The name of the vessel is "Broadsword" and is emblazoned on the consol.

Outrageous to say the least that they should steal a police boat!

But I bet the response will be quicker on this, and the crime will be reported properly??
