STOLEN BOAT

HI MATE
I SPENT SEVERAL HUNDREDS OF POUNDS ON
PRIVATE DECTIVES HUNTING FOR IT FOR OVER 2 YEARS
THE MARINE POLICE LOOKED FOR A MONTH AND THEN
SAID BECAUSE THE COST OF BOAT WAS UNDER 50,000
POUNDS IT WAS NOT WORTH THEM LOOKING ANY LONGER.
MANY THANKS PETEJAY

No wonder you didn't find it if you found private detectives that would work for a couple of years for a few hundred pounds /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif More like that a day for one with a brain /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Why are we so concerned with someone typing in capitals? Is it really a big deal? Not everybody spends all day/night long using keyboards and therefore might find it easier to type all in upper case. Personally I'd rather someone typed in uppercase than not at all - I really can't see that it matters. It's just cliquey clubby nonsense, please do get a grip.

This chap seems to have had his boat nicked and however ridiculous you consider his typing to be he does seem to have a bigger issue to worry about than the format of his typing.

I didn't complain, I thought he may be visualy impaired so replied with big writing /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Equality and all that /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

If he couldn't find a large boat, what hope has he of reading small print? /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

But the guy is shouting at us to try and find a boat he lost TEN YEARS AGO and he asked a question in his first posting, which jezbanks answered, but didn't even have the good grace to thank him for it.

I think 'the office' avatar wound some people up, I just got that feeling /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Toast and butter is more soothing so perhaps people will be more friendly now /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I think we are all looking for something like this :-

Correct me if I'm wrong, just trying to help /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Whilst I appreciate how upsetting and annoying it must have been to have yer boat nicked, it was ten years ago. Buy a new boat, insure it straught away and enjoy. You have little or no chance of recoverig it after all this time and even if you tracked it down would you want it back ? Ten years really is way too long to have this on yer mind.
Regards - Ian

I still see David Brent as your avatar. Should I give my computer a nudge?
