Another one for the informed collective....
What is the best way to remove sticky residue (from, er... 'stickers'..... ) left on Lewmar acrylic portlight windows?
Obviously nothing abrasive, but I have heard of soaking in WD40, and similar ideas, but reluctant to try it for fear of melting same. Having just replaced one window (crazing caused by who knows what), I don't want the expense / hassle of replacing another because I used the wrong method!
It is the galley window, and rather important that my ISBH is able to see out when she is on duty in that area. (I am too busy concentrating on cooking when I am down there, so I don't notice so much.....).
All help gratefully received!
