Sticky marks!

I've got sticky marks on my topsides caused by the plastic of the fenders rubbing against the GRP. Its formed a grey sticky, gummy mess that is hard to get off. Any suggestions?

damp a rag with white spirit followed by an application of cleaner polish...should do the trick.
