Sticky headlining

Hi

I have a sticky vinyl headlining that refuses to be cleaned. I have tried grease cleaners etc and sugar soap but to no avail.
The aft cabins have the same but are fine so must be something to do with cooking. Any suggestions please !

If it's sticky with grease from the galley, you could try wiping it over with paper towel moistened with petrol - I've used this on someone else's boat successfully. The other stuff which is easily obtainable and a keen solvent is Evostik Remover - again, successful experience.
