Hi from Ireland !

I'm considering the purchase of a small fairly modern steam boat ( 20 feet LOA) and have a likely candidate for purchase in my sights.

I am anxious before I purchase that I am well prepared to take on this responsibility. I am particularly interested in the areas of steam boat safety, certification and maintenance and also in any insurance implications.

All advice welcome !
