Staysafe fire extinguishers

Any opinions for onboard use ?
Said to be for elec, petrol, diesel fabric fires, BS5597, uses BS EN3 tested and approved fluid.
Plastic canister, 3-year life. £20-ish.

Over here in Latvia - we are required to carry FE in the car ... and they check the dates during annual car inspection.

I carry the replaced in the boat ... they are Dry Powder Extinguishers as the Vaporizing Fluid are not accepted here. As an ex Merch Navy Officer and trained to fight fires - I agree with them !

Just paid £55 odd inc. del for two 500ml Firexos (freeze-resistant foam/AFFF) for comparison. 2L was around £50-odd. Might be worth a look.

Ikg dry powder costs about 13 Euro here ....

Every so often turn upside down and shake to break up powder .... right way up and back in supplied bracket. Check pressure gauge is still in green.

Mount horizontally and they'll break up powder on every tack...

I recently bought four Firexo 2 litre FE's from Amazon.

£36.00 each. Apart from the no good for a boat bracket they appear to be the answer.
