I have two kamd 300 engines. If I leave the boat for say 3 months or more the starboard engine starts instantly. The port engine takes a bit of spinning and it's like there is a bit of air in the injectors, it coughs and splutters a bit then it's perfect. If I leave the boat for a day, a week, or a month or so then both engines start instantly. No smoke as such everything seems ok otherwise. Superchargers kick in and out correctly etc. Boat pulls like a train etc.
Any suggestions ????? Bizarrely if both engines did it I probably wouldn't be concerned.

easy go more often

What’s been the relative height of the level in the tank ( s) feeding this engine ,when it’s been left , before the symptoms?
Above or below the injector pipes ?

It could be that a small air leak in the high pressure pipework is allowing air in, and fuel to run back down a couple of pipes. Double check the joints for any signs of even a quite small leak, especially at the injector ends, or anything that looks like a crack.
