Starting a Yacht Club

Very very interesting. Woody Allen made a movie called 'Duck Soup'. I owe you and David each a Loonie. Email me your addresses and I send your winnings off by express post. You should have them in about a week.

Vindicated!

However, I honourably request that you send the 'loony' to a deserving charity, such as the Quebec government, it will give them something else to moan about. Besides, I already have one in my small but perfectly formed collection of third world banknotes, alongside such wonders as Pounds(Egypt), Pounds(Sterling), Rupees(Seychelles) and Euros(wherewho?). Additionally, this unsanctioned movement of cash could drastically destabilise the Canuck economy and make it almost as shoogly as Dubya's khaki Dollar, although possibly not as debt-ridden.

cheers and vague non-denominational festive greetings,
and a merry pagan mid-winter feast to you all!

Be Warned! I recently investigated the cost of insurance for a club through the RYA scheme. I was horrified by the cost for what amounted to a portakabin and small stockholding. As it wasn't the type of insurance I actually needed I went elsewhere however it opened my eyes to what costs a yacht club can incur. Do some thorough investigation into the real need to form a club wher perhaps an association with no real estate may be more what you wish to achieve.
