Having used Renevo products to clean and proof my sprayhood, it's time to turn my attention to the transparent windows, but I find my chandler does not stock the Renovo plastic polish, which I have used before with reasonable results, but stocks a Starbright product instead. This seems to be a two part product, the restorer itself and then a polish to protect the finish. Has anybody used this and, if so, where you pleased with the result?

Stay with Renovo if you possibly can in my experience. It is available mail order and eBay.

(Not involved with promoting the product, just a simple user and reckon its the best).

I tried using the part 1 this weekend - to remove hazing and smears in the windows - minimal effect unfortunately.

Acrylic is easy to polish, you can progressively use wet and dry 600-2000 grade depending on roughness, finishing with any mild abrasive paste but no matter how coarse you start it will not get deep enough to remove uv crazing, but the surface will be reallly clear and shiny.
